Education.
Education has the power to change lives and communities; that’s why it is the foundation of our organization. Our curriculum is uniquely designed using international recommendations and input from partner communities to be accessible and culturally relevant for our specific population of learners.
Collaboration.
From the communities where we work to international granting organizations, from local non-profits to our loving community of donors, we believe that collaboration is the foundation of positive growth and change.
Cultural Competency.
As members of the global community, we believe we have just as much to learn as we have to teach. We aim to promote and preserve indigenous knowledge and traditions through our experiential learning opportunities.
Access.
We believe that access to health care is a basic human right. We are committed to providing the communities in our catchment area with knowledgeable promotoras who provide accurate health information and assistance navigating the local health system.
Equity.
Everyone has the right to access the specific resources they need to thrive. With programming developed in partnership with promotoras, we increase access to health care and information, and educational and economic opportunities that best fit the needs of the local culture and individuals.
